This sounds odd since you have been having sex for so long. My boyfriend and I were having sex the other night and had to stop because I was bleeding. It was not a lot...and it was not like a period. Sometime bleeding during intercourse can be due to dysplasia or cervical issues. Definitely talk to your gyno about it.
