How long does it take to get pregnant when stopping on the pill? i want to start on the pill but i want to get pregnant soon before the year is out

Especially eHealthy
all women are different
some can get pregnant right after they stop
some take longer
its not a "set" amount if days for everyone

well no of course not i know there is not a set time but was just wondering because i have read different things

I think on average, women start ovulating between like 2-6 weeks after stopping the pill..depends. So you could try temping/charting after you stop the pill to see when you've ovulated and go from there. Good luck Smile

hmm temping i never done it lol i dunno how or what to do . when i got pregnant the first time i just tried when i was ovulating

have you ever been on the pill before? some womens cycles don't go back to normal right away and some start ovulating like normal right away.
depending on when you actually want to start ttc it is august and if it were me i wouldn't start on them. of course it is completely up to you though!
but, temping does work and it is an awesome way to see exactly when you ovulate to help things along faster! do a search for bbt charting, it is real easy to do. i printed out a chart to use or you can go to fertilityfriend.com and use the free chart there.

no i was on depo from 18-24 stopped to clean out my system to get ready for pregnancy. so thats why i was wondering if i should even bother with the pills. how do you do bbt charting? like i said i had never done the temp thing and all that i just went on a week after my cycles ended and started trying then and got pregnant in 3 months
