hi. i took yasmin continous for 2 months and took the last pill Monday night. I have not been sexually active in the last one month. I had a preg test in doctor's office for different reasons 3 weeks ago and it was neg.
It is now saturday and i have not yet had my period!!! I am getting really worried b/c i'm getting married in one week and going on honeymoon and don't want to get my period then!!!!!!
I don't believe i'm pregnant. I think its just the yasmin messing up my cycle. But like i said don't want period on wedding day. So is there anything I can do now? And if I don't get my period soon, should i restart my pill? if i do that, will it jumpstart my period?
Please help!!!!!!

If you are on active pills, you will most likely not get your period. You should only get your period during the placebo week. Since you will be starting up your new pack this saturday, it will prevent you from having your period then.

If you're not going back on Yaz... then you might end up getting your period who-knows-when. Middle of the ceremony!! I'd heavily suggest taking Yaz for just one more month if you were considering getting off them.

On top of that, Yaz is supposed to lighten/reduce a woman's period. It is a desired side effect!

thanks for the replies. i should have been more specific. I took my last active pill on monday. usually within a couple of days of stopping the active pills, i get my period. Yesterday, i was worried b/c it was 5 days out! anyway, i got it today but do i still start my active pills again tomorrow since it will be one week since i stopped them. I plan to stay on birth control for a while.
