Hi,in april this year i had a operation to remove what the docters thought was a nasal polyp on my right maxilary sinus,it turned out to be a condition called inverted papilosis however the tumer was benign,3 weeks later i went back for a ct scan and it showed it had returnd,so i went in to hospital for a second time to have it removed i have been out of hospital for 3 days, only this time i am in so much pain,i am using co-codimal pain killers,it feels like i have a drill going through both sides of my temple area and someone is pulling my eyes out when i eat it is also so painfull,on this second operation the consultant said he removed the tumer that will be sent for a biopsy,he also went in as close to my right eye as he could without causing any damage,he also widend the maxillary sinus, then drilled a hole from one nostril to the other to improve my airway,i had packing in my right nostril that has been removed now,in the left nostril i still have a sort of plastic splint with stitches that go through the nose and come out on the right nostril,i go back on wednesday to have these out,i dont think the pain will ever go away i never had this problem last time, has anyone any ideas to help me,i think the pain is coming from the stitches and scabs of the dried blood.
