How old are you guys?
I'm sure you know this, but you are NOT supposed to have unprotected sex period, while you're young, especially not when you're having sex with multiple partners.

Anyway, the only real way you'll know who the father is, is by taking a paternity test. Who said she got pregnant on the 17th? If she did, I would most likely say it was guy #1, since you can't get pregnant in one day, it's a process that takes a while, maybe 6 days, maybe more, but it wouldn't happen in one day.

good luck, and keep us posted.

generally women ovulate 14 days after their period, so there is a higher chance of guy number 2 being the father of her baby. but then again, sperm can live up to a few days as long as theyre wet, i.e. in a vagina, so there is still a possibility of guy number 1 being the father.

i'd have to say #2 seems more likely, but we're not doctors. she can just go along and assume #2 is the father but if she wants 100% reassurance, she'll need a paternity test.

i'm astounded at the number of people having unprotected sex with multiple partners. not only is pregnancy an issue, what about diseases?

oh, okay well then guy #2. but like bridget and I both said, you nee to have a paternity test, that's the only way you'll know.

and in the future, tell your friend to use protection, that's sick. excuse me for being blunt, but.

so if its guy number ones baby she doesnt want to have it that would like mess up a whole family...
but if its guy number two baby she wants to keep it cus thats her boyfriend...
we dont want it to be guy number ones baby
so what do you think the chance are??
and she told all of this to plan parenthood and they said theres almost no way its guy number ones baby...
if she like re-started her period during sex with guy number one then that would have flushed his sperm out of her body there for there would be no chance of it getting fetalied?

I don't know, I'm not a doctor Smile
Like I said, two other times before, You need a paternity test to know for sure, I have no idea. Get a paternity test! Google them and learn about them and then try to get one, that's the only way you'll know for sure.

It's likely guy 2, of course there's a small chance it could be guy 1.

23 year olds should know more about reproduction than this.

Whoa Whoa...now there's no way to prove of someones age but...are you guys sure your over the age of 18? Well, perhaps she might be, but Sarah did you guys ever learn about the reproductive system and fertilization? Sweetheart, whenever you get your period you have certain intervals/days for ovulation. Your Cycle is typically 28 days long. Between days 14-16 is when you're most likely to conceive a baby if unprotected sex occurs, this isn't always as irregular periods, stress, etc can throw off the days and pregnancy can happen at any time. Usually between days 21-28 is when your period comes. Then it starts back all over. So, if she had sex when she "thought" her period was off/on whatever, theres a chance she didn't get pregnant by guy #1. ALTHOUGH, since sperm can survive for 5-7 days in the body and depending on the female, some girls do ovulate between days 1-8, its rare but happens. Anyway, if an egg is present the sperm has a count of 1-2 days to fertilize the egg BUT it takes between 6-12 days to implant into the uterus. Oh, and btw, once sperm is inside the body, some does leak out but that doesn't mean it's not there, it has a swimming body and all it takes is ONE out the millions in a single drop of semen to reach the egg. Perhaps, your friend should talk to her mother or in more common sense, her physician.

I'm not trying to sound like a know it all because I don't know it ALL. But some things are just..taught early in life, like..school and by tons of researching. Good luck to all though.
