this is just something out of curiousity, do you think that the only, the best, the whatever way to get through depression is by taking medication for it?
and before i get an answer, depression, when its chronic is not something that can simply be fixed by taking madicine for a few weeks, it would be a life long medication to regulate the chemicals in the mind.

Of course not. That's such an obvious no, I don't think there's even a need to debate it. Medication is not the end-all.

Despite what most people believe, if you have Chronic Depression(such as i do) its only the begining. Because there is no underlying cause in the imbalance for those with chronic depression there is no true way to "cure" them of this, and if the decide to take pills they may actually find themselves relying on them to be happy.

I'm currently suffering from post-natal depression after the birth of my daughter almost 5 weeks ago and i'm taking some mild anti-depressants. They have really helped me through this and i shouod be coming off of them relitivly soon, i just needed then to help me through thisfor a little while because when i wasn't taking them i wasn't being a good mother to my daughter and she deserved me to be well so i could look after her the way she deserved to be
