Hello-
2 years ago I had complications with my gallbladder surgery and required a blood tranfusion. I am now 13 weeks pregnant, and my OB-GYN Dr has told me that I now have ANTI-BIG-C based on test results which I picked up from the blood donor. The ratio is now 1:1 but my Dr is telling me that if the number rises then they will have to do a blood transfusion on the baby. I really don't understand all of this. Would like to know exactly what this means, what are the chances that it will affect the baby, and looking long-term how will having this in my blood affect me? Thank you!
