How far along are you? How did you find out if was twins?

well im a bit more than 5 months pregnant, and i had an ultrasound at 3 months, and thats how i know. it obviously shows, and since its summer, no one at school knows that im pregnant. i dont think ill be going to school this year, since it already shows and can be a distraction. but yea, i think i should speak with the school..

Your babies will be a distraction later. Might as well get as much done now as you can. School pregnant is much easier than school with babies. Although I only had one, when I was 16 and going to school it wasn't easy.

There are alternative schools that have daycare in the school. You might want to look into that.

thankss, ill definately look into it, wow, i didnt even know that existed good to know, just one question...im actually pretty nervous about giving birth to my twins, i dont have any health problems or anything, but are there any risks during the birth that may occur? or may i even lose one or both before its even time? its just a concern, ive kinda gotten very attached to my baby girls, Hannah&Jazmine<3

Your doctor would be a better person to talk to about the risk of twin delivery. Unless there is something else going on with you healthwise, you should be fine.

schools cannot ban you from going to them if youre pregnant. i was 3 and a half months pregnant when i graduated. most people will be excited for you, and i highly doubt youd be any sort of distraction, and if you are its the fault of the idiots who are "allowed" at the school and not you. but to answer your question i dont believe there are any schools that are JUSt for pregnant teens, but homeschooling is always an option. i know that when my son is born i will want to be with him whenever possible, granted i work all day every day, but maternity leave will enable me to do so for the first 6-12 weeks. you could always do schooling online, or find an area home near you that takes students who wish to be home schooled.

How do you know the genders if you had the u/s at 12 weeks (3 months)?

She had an ultrasound at 3 months that determined it was multiples. It is very likely she has had one since that told her the sex of the babies. She IS 5 months along now.

I get that, but in her last post she said they were both girls named Hannah and Jazmine.

When I was pregnant my doctor told me that they could make a reasonable estimate at gender at around 16 weeks, but wouldn't make a real guess until 20 weeks. To me, 12 weeks seems entirely unreasonable.

i found out i was pregnant about a month into my senior year, and had my daughter 3 weeks before graduation, i stayed in school (regular school, although we do have a specific school for pregnant girls here) and graduated on time, with no special treatment other then having a few extra excused absences, which many people get for many things (how my school worked was you get 7 absences in every class per semester after that you fail, but you can get an appeal if there are real reasons for missing more days)

i missed about 6 or 7 days total in the 2 semesters and then left when i was 38 weeks because i was having contractions and my counselor was worried about me going into labor at school

its doable and the school cant refuse you an education if its a public school, it wont be much of a distraction, especially after everyone gets use to it, once the initial shock wears off no one will even think twice

I was in year 9 when i feel pregnant the first time and i had a beautiful baby boy.

There are plenty of options... how old are you? 9th grade? like 14-15?

There are night schools, learning centers, maternity schooling. You can contact your school district and see if they provide options. if not you may need to transfer districts

I have a question.. What if your 13 and have a baby??? Its hard to stay in school grade 7 everyone is excited to leave and they push and if your pregnant then in elementry everyone gets distracted and stares at you and really you don't know what to say!! My boyfriends excited but, after this happen we thought what are we going to do when the babys born it'd be hard to stay in school and watch the baby!!! And how do you tell your parents?? After All those years of them asking if you've had sexual content or anything!!! What if they get really mad?? My boyfriend and I really want a kid and we talk for about 3 months about it and decided to have one!!

if your 13 and purposefully have a baby,,, its a silly thing to do. You cant get a job, your still in middle school, you wont have health insurance for your child, and it is hard to take care of a baby. if you want a baby, and you want a happy baby and be able to give it the life it deserves, then wait until you can get a fulltime job and have a degree and source of income. Talking about a baby is a lot different than having one. At 13 you have not experienced life at all. You should be more concerned with going to the mall and hanging with friends. It is no time to start a family. And once you have a baby, theres no more movies or free time you have to devote yourself 100% to that child constantly. Also, having sex at 13 is against the law and your boyfriend and you can go to jail for statutory rape if one of the parents gets mad. It is against the law for anyone under 16 to have sex, even if its consentual its considered rape because of your age. You are 13, its not the time to be tying yourself down because its difficult and you are not prepared, trust me.
