Q: Chronic Uti ! On Acidophilus

I get chronic bladder infections...1-2 a month...with or without sex...
happens like lightening, so much fun.

i called GNC, they recommended acidophilus to level out bacteria in the body and/or cranberry pills.

My Question is, do these things work? can I start eating a yogurt a day with the same effect?
Im already resistant to certain antibiotics and growing resistant against Cipro fast

I live on uristat...how much is too much uristat?

i feel your pain!!! i also have chronic bladder infections (usually 1-2 a month, sometimes maybe more) it happens to me usually when i have sex, but that is not a necessary condition to have them. i haven't had sex in more that a week and yesterday i got the most painful bladder infection i've ever had in my life. i'm bleeding when i pee, i have diarreah after i pee, i bleed from my nose, waters just does not seem to be working, neither is cranberry juice. it just seems to bloat me a lot... i am kind of desperate and i know what you're feeling. i'm taking cipro and it does not seem to work after 15 years of taking it... i'm sorry you feel that way too... Sad
