suzannah

From Σουσαννα (Sousanna), the Greek form of the Hebrew name שׁוֹשַׁנָּה (Shoshannah). This was derived from the Hebrew word שׁוֹשָׁן (shoshan) meaning "lily" (in modern Hebrew this also means "rose"), perhaps ultimately from Egyptian sšn "lotus".

Richard, which means strong, powerful ruler....I probably have not lived up to it....and I sure don't think it suits me....I am a caring person who treats others with respect, but I don't think I could rule a country!

According to this sight I was wrong.
Michael means "Who is like god?" or "Gift from god."
The biblical meaning however is "poor", "humble."

Hmmm.

Spanish Female Lovable.
Latin Female Lovable, worthy of love. Some scholars believe this name was invented by 17th century British dramatist Colley Cibber who gave it to a character in his play 'Love's Last Shift.' Noel Coward later named a character Amanda in 'Private Lives'.
English Female Worthy of being loved. Literary; poets and playwrights brought this name into popular usage in the seventeenth century.
The characteristics of #8 are: Practical endeavors, status oriented, power-seeking, high-material goals.

it is also the name of the archangel mentioned in the bible and other places, which is kinda cool if you read up on it. all those stories about leading the war with lucifer in heaven and being the prince of angels and the sword of michael protecting the gates of heaven and eden. i think it's an interesting name because of all that.

Tanya comes from the name Tatiana and it means queen of the fairies.

My sister was crying when my parents brought me home from the hospital because she wanted a brother, so they said if she would be happy and like me she could name me. They had given her a book about new babies to prepare her and in the book the new baby's name was 'Tanya'. There you go... they also didn't bother to give me, or my sister, a middle name.

My daughter's name is Rowan, which is a tree in Ireland with red berries. Some books and websites have given meanings such as little red head, red headed, or just the colour red (she has red hair too!) but mostly everything just refers back to the Rowan tree. It has ties with dragons in the old stories and legends. I think it's rather neat.

And Again They Make Me Laugh
Hebrew Male Son of my right hand. Many Jewish families named their youngest child Benjamin. Famous bearers: 19th century British statesman Benjamin Disraeli. Dustin Hoffman's character in the 1967 movie 'The Graduate.' Biblical Jacob's twelfth son.
English Male Right-hand son. Benjamin was the youngest son of Jacob in the Bible. Famous Bearer: Dr. Benjamin Spock.

Biblical Male Son of the right hand- yeah freaking right, more likely left hand of the devil for chist sake. I am ANTI-religious, why would i want anything to do with "god"?
