Anyone had any experience taking either of these two drugs? Did they do any good? Any interesting side effects? I am supposed to begin them both, but I have so many reactions to all drugs I am always afraid until I talk to others. Anyone?

Hi k
what do you mean you od'd? Od'd for real or felt like you had taken enough of it?
I am not good with any drugs so I hesitate to take anything new unless I have to. I have a whole drawer full of drugs I had to stop taking or that I couldn't take due to reactions. I call it my "pharmacy." bet a few of you have those, too, right?

Provigil and Lexapro
Hi, I've taken Provigil for several years to help with Chronic Fatigue associated with Fibromyalgia. It helps give you more energy. You are suppose to take one day off to avoid building up a tolerance. I use to take 200 mg/day, my Dr. increased my Rx. to two times a day. I usually do not take two, have trouble sleeping at night. My sister said she could not take it; gave her bad headaches. As far as Leaxapro, I just weaned off Cymbalta; HORRIBLE withdrawl process. I tried to go back on Welbutrin, but as I increased to 300mg., my skin was crawling and itching. Today my GYN. Dr. prescribed Lexapro, said I should try it. She said, she had patients who responded well, and the withdrawl process is better tolerated than Cymbalta. My concern is more weight gain, headaches or worsening fatigue. I tried many antidepresants, they all work different for everyone. I hope Lexapro and Provigil will prove helpful for you! Why did your Dr. prescribe both Medications together? Good Luck, D.White
