Hi guys. I've been having mystery pain for about three and a half weeks now right under my right rib cage and in between (right below) my breast bone. Sometimes it hurts on it's own - other times it's just when I press that spot under my right rib and the pain radiates to the left side. My ultrasound came back normal. I'm a 22 year old mom worried sick! Literally I think. I also have nausea and heartburn and a feeling of fullness. I've been scheduled for a Hida scan - which sounds sorta scary and a barium xray. Any ideas what this could be? What are the chances of it being my gall bladder since it showed up normal on the ultrasound? Thanks for all the help guys! All is appreciated.

I am going to the Dr. this afternoon for the very thing you describe. I was hospitalized in april with this pain. I will see the Gastrointernest (sp??) this afternoon. Maybe I can give you some insight after my visit, my local doctor said I need a upper and lower and the colon test that I cannot spell. I will see this afternoon.

Thanks for replying. Sorry you are having trouble too. Yes - please fill me in! I have a hida scan on wednesday and I will let you know what they say about that. Maybe our test results can shed light on this problem for one another. I went to the ER last night. They said on top of this I have a UTI. My blood levels were normal - but my lipase was in the high normal range. Not sure what that can mean. Hope you feel better soon! God bless you!
