Q: How Long Is Too Long For Bleeding ?

im on the pill microgestin which is low dose. i just started and have been bleeding for over a week .. but i just finished my second row of pills . i kno since i just started break thru bleeding is common but is this too long ? if i continue bleeding all throught my next week of pills then its time for the placebo pills and that means im suppose to get my period ... i dont want to be bleeding all month Sad should i call someonee or wait it out ?

Unfortunately, it is normal.

When you first begin taking the pill, you can have one full cycle of irregular bleeding, even into your placebo week.

Keep taking your pills as usual, even your placebo week, your body will balance out.

Yeah, as long as it's regular period strength bleeding or less, you just have to wait. If it is really heavy and lasts that long you should see a doc because you don't want to be losing too much blood.
