My daughter had molluscum since she was only 6 months old. Now she is 2 years old. She had them all over her neck, her armpits going down to her arms, her back, her belly and the back of her neck. Last week on 03/10/04 she went to her doctor for like the 6th time cause I couldn't take it and I left with the same reply: that it will eventually go away. Rolling Eyes I was getting so mad Evil or Very Mad cause she started to grow some on her nose and around her mouth and she really looked ridiculous. She was really starting to itch alot to the point where she would just scratch them off and it seemed like when she did that the next day came like 4-6 more and it was just spreading. I washed her hands with a antibacterial soap like more than 15 times a day and always made sure her nails were clipped.

Anyway, my 6 year old son had a cream my doctor prescribed him for a ringworm he had several months ago. It's called 1% clotrimazole cream. I was feed up and knowing I should have asked my doctor first, I decided to just try it out and put it on the poxs. I put it on her at night the first night and when she woke up the next day the poxs were scabs. Today is monday march 15th 2004 and they are gone. Smile Exclamation you can still see the tiny dots (you know, when a scab goes away you see a little pink color)but that's all. I am so happy and she is too. Summer is coming up and I don't want her looking like a toad.

I am so sure it was the cream that made it go away cause she had so much. And within two days the scabs had already peeled off.

Extremely eHealthy
That's fantastic, but personally I would not be so worried about asking the dr, I know on one hand you should but sometimes when you have gotten nowherre there's nothing like "gut instinct".
