If you've only been trying for four months, you can't be surprised if you're not pregnant yet! Women are only at peak fertility for a couple of days a month, and even if we have sex on those days, it is still by no means a guarantee that we'll get pregnant. That's why fertility specialists usually won't even see couples until they have been trying for at least 12 months.

So relax and give it time. Pregnancy often does not happen immediately. Try using something like www.mymonthlycycles.com. It's a free calendar that tells you when you can expect to be the most fertile.

It's difficult for us to answer that since we don't know what is causing the pain. It could be something serious that effects fertility, or it could be something minor. We can't say. It's something you'll definitely have to talk to your ob-gyn about.
