Hi, guys,
what do you think, is water filter removing the bacteria from the water?

Depends upon which one you're using. There's a filter you can buy at camping stores that the Army uses that removes just about ANYTHING. I forget what it's called...will get back to you on that.

But, in my time in the Peace Corps, we were instructed to both filter AND boil out water to be sure that bacteria was killed. I got into the habit, and didn't get dysentry quite as often as others.
