Ahhh.... California in December. I used to live out there and recently went out there for Christmas a few years ago.

Do you like to ski or snowboard? There is a resort that is just a couple hours away. If you are going to be in LA, then you should go to Hollywood to see the sign and to walk the walk of fame. Obviously go to the beach. It is still nice that time of year, but you can't swim, the water is to cold.

ummm...Venice Beach is fun to go to during the day, they have a bunch of venders. Down in Long Beach, not to far from LA, there is an aquarium that is one of the best I have been to. There is a conservatory up in the hills that I am completely forgetting the name right now. Huntington Beach has a nice pier and good resturants and shops.

What do you guys like to do...because I could go on and on about things to do out there...luv it!!!! We will be out there for Thanksgiving.

Martha, I just remembered it....but it's not a conservatory. It is Griffith Observatory. If you like museams, the Getty Museam is amazing, and the La Brea Tar pits museam is very cool.....

There is also another amusument park called Knotts Berry Farm that is really fun. You must go to the aquarium, I really think it is one of the best I have seen. Laguna is nice, but it is expensive. If you drive down Pacific Coast Highway (Rt. 1) and when you are done sight seeing around there, as you go back up to LA, you should go up Laguna Canyon Rd. It is one of the most beautiful sights in Southern California, not to mention some of the most beautiful homes.

I really never went into downtown LA, never had a reason to, and was way to young when I lived there when I was younger, but Im sure there are fun things to do in the city as well. Where does Michaels dad live? My dad still lives out there, but he is way south of LA almost into San Diego.

i'm pretty sure his dad lives like 30miles North of LA..but i'm not positive!
i already told him we're going to the aquarium whether he likes it or not
and they offer a "sightseeing boat cruise thing"...lol.. where you can go whale and dolphin watching...
I just want to see what Laguna looks like cuz from the pics i've seen it looks beautiful.. i'm really excited..
The aquarium's website made it look really nice, that's the only reason i thought to go to it b/c it came up on a website and it was the only one that had a website that was kept up...
I'm gunna try to talk michael into getting a "star map" or whatever so we can see celebrity homes... lol... sorry if that sounds stupid Embarassed

but him and i are going to start TTC in Sept/Oct...
and i thought if we happen to get preg. in one of those months..
i wont tell him til we're in Cali. and that'll be his Christmas Present Smile
