I had a port implanted half way through my chemo treatment in 1996. I noticed my left arm (same side as port0 was alittle swollen, just a bit larger than the right, my surgeon put me on cumadin (it was either that or remove the port). I stayed on cumadin until my port removal in December 1997- my left arm remains bigger than the right..why is this? It's not a huge difference, I can tell, my family can, but friends and co-workers would never notice unless I pointed it out..but is this dangerous? Will it ever go away? Thanks,
Kathy
