Lump In Groin Area Posted: 08-06-07 15:47pm
3 days ago I noticed a hard lump in my
groin area near my pelvis. It at the time
was not painful, just tender to the touch.
Now it is more painful and I'm getting
concerned. I have not had regular periods
for a few years and due to a lack of
insurance, I have not been to an ob/gyn in
years. I have several symptoms of PCOS
including excess facial hair, weight gain
around the midsection among other ones.
My question is do the cysts associated
with PCOS have pain that accompanies them?
Does it sound like PCOS or something else
all together? Any input would be greatly
appreciated.

You really should go see a dr. If you
don't have insurance, check to see if
there's a health department in your city.
Last resort, go to the ER.
I don't know anything about what you've
describedn however, sometimes lumps are
bartholins cysts but they really swell in
either the right or left of labias (outer
lip area basically). They can be small or
as large as an orange, are sometimes
painless and sometimes very painful.
