Q: Bumps on skin of libia - herpes / genital warts
asked by: DoctorQuestion on August 6th, 2007
I recently found bumps that look more like a skin tag on 2 seperate spots of my vaginal area. Both are in the libia , none in my vaginal hole or anal that Im aware of. They dont hurt or itch. They are of flesh color, and raise up off my shin in a "tag" like fashion. All the pics I've seen havent helped in identifying this. I dont beleave its herpes or genital warts cuz nothing I've seen looks like this. I was at the GYN in the past 6mths (for unrelated reasons) and all was good well. Can u tell me what it is or give me a lead to research and go over with my Doc. ?Thanku so much !

It is hard to diagnose “bumps that look more like a skin tag” without seeing them. Visual inspection is the major diagnostic tool used for diagnosing skin lesions. You can consult a dermatovenerologist or gynecologist about them for an expert opinion...my suppositions would simply be conjecture.
