What to Take If Interested In Becoming a Psychiatrist & Posted: 08-05-07 21:09pm
Well, im 15 years old. going into the 10th
grade. I recently, just got off the
Crappiest job in the world and it got me
thinking, if i want to go from crappy job
to crappy job in my life, i can be an fool
and not try my best.
Or i can be smart and start getting my
education on track, Im wondering, what to
take in highschool, what to read up on,
Maybe some sort of Apprentice-ships,
courses i could take, to become a
psychiatrist. Because i Really have a
passion for helping people with their
problems, all sorts of people. All my
friends say im great at giving advice. It
makes me feel great when a friend of mine
resolves a problem through me.

My advice is to go to college You can major in
Psychology!

Yes you will have to college for either
the psychology or psychiatric fields. The
difference is that you will have to study
more to become a psychiatrist. They are
real doctors who prescribe medicine.
Psychologists are there more to help you
out with solving your problem rather than
medicating.
You can major in
Psychology!
