Q: Frightened....

okay im young.. and everything. but im just really scared of sex . i have years to go yet. but after reading everyones comments .. ive become really scared. what if its painful for me, and the doctors cant do anything? oh god. im really am worried. i sound really stupid , but, im scared if ill just aviod sex all my life, or until a later stage than i should have.

I am sure you'll get over being scared Smile It's natural to feel nervous on the first time, but once you start having sexual feelings for others it will be easy to get over that. How old are you? I had sex for the first time when I was 19 and it was not painful for me. It just depends on the person, its can be for some and not for others.

Oh hun ^^ Painful sex that can't be cured is RARE. What is common? Well, many women do have a little bit of tolerable pain/discomfort when they first have sex, but it's not debilitating at all!!

There's nothing wrong with forward thinking but your fears will ease when you get older and the time is right so try relax about it!

but definately make sure you protect yourself Smile
and take it slow. dont rush into it

I Suggest That You Keep In Mind
if at all possible keep in mind the ages of the people making their coments . and remember the the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. you keep asking and give yourself time in about seven years or so you can answer some sex questions ...be safe and yeah I agree relax one day at a time ...wazzywoman

The only pain I've ever had during sex was some mild irritation from not being well lubricated or from the ring.

It's never really hurt bad. It shouldn't. That's a sign that something is wrong and it is rare.
