Has anyone used the Today sponge PLUS an
additional different spermicide (foam,
gel, etc)? I know the sponge contains
spermicide, but the 9 percent failure rate
is kind of high and I was wondering if
combining it with another spermicide would
improve the rate. Any studies?

never tried it but combining the two would

Just remember that the even with the xtra
spermicide, it will never be as effective
as the pill, or non hormonal IUD.
I would say that whomever you use this
with, they should understand that, and you
should make sure it is okay with you too
=)
