Q: Thrombocytosis

when i had my physical exam for employment, the result showed that i have a mild thrombocytosis. i would like to know what it is? what caused it? is it worse? and what could i do to prevent it ? i would also like to know what causes hypertension and how to prevent it. and what worst could happen on both disease?
