I think women are more careful at driving but in general, men are far superior at parking.

I haven't met a woman yet that can park a car without making a meal out of it.

i think the real question when it comes to driving is automatic or manual (stick) ... are manual drivers better?

Manual drivers are way better in my book, since they automatically have more they must pay attention to. They are sharper, and pay more attention and have far better timing because they have to know how fast their car shifts. They can't just slam on the brakes OR the gas. Manual drivers are able to drive safely and comfortably with one hand because they have to, so they're far less likely to look down and fumble with the radio since they don't need to see. I also think they can eat food with far more control lol.

Of course, I'm biased since I AM a manual driver lol.

I guess you'd have to take a look at the clutch to tell! Laughing

With my manual, though, since I had less hands, I learned how to drive with my knee.

How many hands did you have in the first place ?? Laughing
You need one hand on the wheel, whilst you shift the gear ... your foot goes on the clutch .... then once you've selected that gear, you put your other hand back on the wheel, and take your foot off the clutch ... not unless your rolling a smoke whilst driving ... then yeah ... yer knees do come in handy Wink .... what am I saying Embarassed .... NO keep your hands on the wheel ... Laughing

No. I do trust women more when driving in their vehicles, in general. However, I trust men more when it comes to speeding down the highway!

Every accident I've been in in my life has had a woman at the wheel. I have watched women apply make-up, text and even eat lunch while driving. Women, and I do this too, tend to look away from traffic to make eye contact during conversations. Ultimately I don't think gender makes much of an issue, insurance companies agree to a certain extent, but I feel safer with a man at the wheel for personal reasosn.
