I've been experiencing an array of neurological symptoms, including dizziness, disorientation, but more significantly confusion, chronic fatigue, brain fog, memory loss....I've been through the MRI and EEG routine, cbc came back normal, I'm just at my wit's end and am pursuing CFS, vit b12 deficiency,or sleep apnea as solutions. I wonder if the PET scan would better show the operation of my various lobes?
My GP wants to send me to the psych over the neurologist, but I was a completely functioning college student before this began to affect me....five years ago? Life's been hell, can't hold a job, can't remember where I placed the dishrag five seconds ago, can't muti-task. In addition to the psychological symptoms (which occupy me primarily) I've have consistent back pain, stiff neck, intermittent tremors of my forearms, eyelids, and finger twitches. Any suggesions or ideas would be greatly encouraging, I'm banking on my insurance to get me through to a solution or i am without a paddle come january. please, any informed advice or word from experience!!!

Hows It Going...
I am about your age, 30, have a similar story. I have been managing it with diet and supplements, yoga, exercise. I have not had the money or health insurance to go down the CAT scan, neurologogy path. I was wondering how your case is going, what has helped? Also any other websites or forums I should check out?

well your problem does sound like it could be life changing but sounds like it could be revirsable. i would say eat a healthier dietm stay away from any substances (cigarettes, booze, non perscription drugs etc...) start getting more exercise, take more vitamins and make sure you are getting a good nine hours sleep everynight. i used to have problems focusing and had a hard time realizing what i had to do and my short term memory was off and on. i did this and havent had any problems since. i take a multi vitamin every morning eat well balanced meals exercise every night and get a good nights sleep. also stimulating the mind i find helps as well. rather than watching tv do a puzzle or instead of playing video games read a book. doing this stimultes the mind which is kind of like when you stimulate muscles it will get stronger.
