Can Clomid or ovulation stimulators affect a fetus or unborn Posted: 08-03-07 15:46pm
My doctor is considering putting me on the
lowest dose of Clomid to see what happens.
I am concerned because I have heard that
Clomid is a category X! In its lowest
dose, is there cause for concern of
deformity? And if so what is the
percentage of affected babies? I know
that you take it during your period, but
how long after that is it in your system
to affect a growing embrio? This has been
on our mind for a long time and through
the last year are confused and looking for
answers. Can you help?

Clomid is an ovulation stimulator that is
given to women who are not ovulating. It
is given in the first half of the
menstrual cycle (from 5th to 10th day),
once a day, and can’t harm an embryo if
conception occurs.
