Hi! I am wondering about platelet counts.
My son had motorcycle crash. On day one
platelet was 169, on day 3 platelet was
120. No platelet count since.
Why is docs not worried about this?
Thank-you, diana

Injury and massive bleeding (surgery-I
don't know if your son had it) are some of
the reasons to have higher level of
platelets in blood. This increase is of
transitory character which means that once
condition is getting better they'll drop.
How is he know? Does he have new blood
test results?
I'll be glad if you write me back!
