Cannot Eat Vegetables Or Fruit For Over 6 Months Posted: 08-03-07 13:41pm
I have had this serious problem of not
being able to digest vegetables or fruit
cooked or raw or most grains and never can
I eat nuts or any kind for over 6 months
now. I went to a GI specialist he did the
endoscopy and colonoscopy and said
everything was fine. He also said that I
don't have gluten allergies.
The problem that occurs when I do eat
vegetables or fruit is sever pain,
bloating, gas, constipation and the food
is unprocessed and eventually ejected with
the use of laxatives. I had a salad for
dinner last month that had me vomiting,
sweating and passing out 4-6 hours after
eating it well into 11am the next day.
(that is the worse case I've had) I do
take enzymes with my food as well as a
probiotic and have been for over 4
months.
I have another appointment with an
Internal Medicine doctor but not until
September. Does anyone have any incite
into this issue? Btw, I can eat apple
sauce without any problems, small amounts
of banana and avocado, but thats is it for
the fruit family. I tried carrots
yesterday morning and have been in pain,
bloating and constipation since.

I am and have been unable to eat any kind
of fruit for almost 41 years of my life.
I am also having weight problem so I went
on the Atkins but the meat and vegetable
was to much on me it cause blood in stool
I can not win for nothing.
