I just want to know if it is normal or
rare to have a different blood pressure
reading in each arm.

It's normal to have a different blood
pressure reading in the same arm two
minutes after the last one! Unless you
have assosciated numbness, tingling,
paralysis or coldness on one side of the
body and not the other, I wouldn't worry.

Hi Moou
I've never heard of a different BP reading
from each arm ....
perhaps a reading at different times
during the day for example.
Your blood pressure is a reading of how
'high/low' the pressure of blood being
pumped around the body and is counted...
as I'm not sure myself, I'll re-post this
in the 'Blood-pressure' forum ..
Take care

I have. I also have been told that you
should take 3 consecutive readings, about
2 mins apart. I was told that true blood
pressure is between your 2nd & 3rd
readings. I personally like my wrist BPM.
Never liked to fumble with the cuffs for
your arm.
