Very few dont.
Those are scholars mind you. They studied
history. You didnt.
How bout Galileo? Do you believe he
existed? Why.
You don't know what I've studied.
Clearly, I'm more knowledgeable than you
about your own religion, and pretty much
everything else. You can keep throwing
historic names out there and asking me if
I believe they existed, but that has
nothing to do with Jesus' existence. Your
logic is faulty, just like your religious
beliefs.
Do you believe in Santa? Ronald
McDonald? The Lucky Charm Leprechaun?
Horus the sun god? Lots of stuff written
about him, and what is written about him
is quite similar to Jesus.
Do you believe in addressing
posts?
birch- what do you mean?!??!!! santa isnt
real?!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heh, Santa is as real as Jesus. There's
the concept that St. Nick was a real man,
but he doesn't live at the North Pole
riding a sleigh pulled by flying reindeer.
Just like Jesus may have been a real man,
but he wasn't resurrected or turned water
into wine or miraculously healed the
ill.
I feel so bad for all of
you, that you do not have Jesus Christ as
Your personal Lord and Savior. There are
37 verses in the Bible that explain the
miracles of Jesus Christ. Has anyone ever
read the book of Revalation? The last book
in the Bible. It talks about the end
times, and things that will be happening
in the world when Jesus will be coming
back to take his SAVED people with Him,
also known as the rapture. Everything
that is happening in the world right now,
Jesus said would happen. The world is
falling apart and there is only one person
who can save us from it, Jesus.
John 3:16-18 "For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish
but have everlasting life. For God did
not send His Son into the world to condemn
the world, but that the world through Him
might be saved. He who believes in Him is
not condemned;but he who does not believe
is condemned already, because he has not
believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God."
Revelation 22:7 "Behold, I am coming
quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words
of the prophecy of this book."
Revalation 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the
Omega, the Beginning and the End, the
First and the Last."
It is very easy to become saved, and have
complete assurance that you will go to
heaven when you die. Because, YES, there
is a heaven and there is a hell, whether
you believe that or not does not change
the fact of their existance or that one of
those will be the destination of your
spirit when you die. To become saved, all
you have to do is pray this prayer,
Jesus, I believe that You died on the
cross for my sins, and the sins of the
world. I believe that You died and rose
again on the third day. Jesus please come
into my heart and be my Savior. Forgive
me of my sins. Amen.
And that's it. Alot of times people will
think that just because it's easy it can't
be true, that's so wrong. I would happy
to just lead 1 person to the Lord through
this. I wish you all hope.
I would be happy to answer any
questions.
uh, you don't need to feel sorry for me.
I've gone to church for 17 years of my
life, it's not like I'm not educated about
these things, but i choose not to believe.
These are our opinions, you don't need to
feel sorry for
us.
Apparently you are not as
educated about christianity as you think
you might be, because if you were, you
would know the truth of Jesus' words and
would never choose to not believe them.
Opinions don't matter in the end anyway,
it's what is fact, and the existance of
God, The Holy Spirit, and Jesus is a fact.
Your opinion will never change that. And
it's not that I feel sorry for you like
ohh, poor you, I feel sorry because of the
lack of a personal relationship with the
only perfect one, that DIED with nails in
his hands and feet, hanging from a cross,
for you.

Can you
elaborate? I guess I might be missing the
humor in all this. Or is that just your
own way of dealing with something you
don't understand? Ya, I can see how it
would be easier to just laugh than to try
and understand something that might be
foreign or unbelievable to you. But I'm
still here for any questions you might
have. And I will pray for you.

But I don't believe that happened, it's
hard for me to believe in something that
I've never seen or personally experienced,
and if that makes me close minded, then so
be it. why would someone who died for us
put us through this? put us through war,
put everyone overseas through what they're
going through? put children through abuse,
let children starve to death in africa,
why would he want something so awful to
happen to people that he supposidly loves
and wants to spend eternity with?

So because you've never
seen gravity does that mean that you doubt
that if you were to jump off a bridge you
wouldn't fall? I mean come on. You've
never seen outer space, so it doesn't
exist? All the pictures you've seen could

I have tried to show a
few verses in the bible to show you things
that Jesus has said, and yes he was a
miracle worker, not a magical wizard. But
if you guys wanna be closed minded about
it then you can, but you will have to

think I'm anybody more special than you,
because in God's eyes we're all the same,
I was just trying to witness to you, as

Actually the books in

followers. And yes they have found
enscriptions on the walls in Jerusalem and
surrounding areas of things that are in
the bible. I'm not trying to get you to

John 14:1-7 (NIV)
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust
in God; trust also in me. In my Father's
house are many rooms; if it were not so, I
would have told you. I am going there to
prepare a place for you. And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come back
and take you to be with me that you also
may be where I am. You know the way to the
place where I am going."
Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know
where you are going, so how can we know
the way?"
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the
truth and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through me. If you really
knew me, you would know my Father as well.
From now on, you do know him and have seen
him."
Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 2:9, "No eye
has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has
conceived what God has prepared for those
who love him." Even when Paul, himself,
was shown heaven, he wrote that he heard
"inexpressible things, things that man is
not permitted to tell." (2 Corinthians 12)

Look people.
Those of us who have CHOSEN not to believe
because of reasons that seem to use to be
perfectly clear and logical.. We
non-believers are really sick and f*ing
tired of being preached to. Shut. Up.
We don't care. We're not "blind to the
love of Jesus". Most of us were RAISED
Christian, so we know as much about the
religion as you do.
We are NOT bad people. We are no more
likely to commit murder than
you are. We are no more likely to steal.
We ARE more likely to allow someone the
freedom to believe whatever they want. We
refuse to look down upon or feel "sorry"
for people who don't believe what we do
(or don't) believe.
We refuse to force our beliefs on someone
because we "believe it is for the better"
and that they will be "better off knowing
Jesus' love". If you want to believe, then
do it. Just don't force it upon me. If you
want to share your religion, I'd love to
talk about it. But I want to talk WITH you
about it, I do NOT want to be preached at.
We're sick of seeing you on street
corners, messing with traffic, and yelling
on our college campuses. Do you see Jewish
or Buddhist or Muslim people doing that?
No you don't, that's because those people
have MANNERS. They don't shove pamphlets
in people's faces as they walk down the
street, and they don't block people from
entering porn shops or women's clinics for
pap smears and birth control. Christians
do.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm not
anit-Jesus. As I've said many times, I
think Jesus was perhaps an amazing man;
and at least the stories written about a
man named Jesus have much to teach us.
But I do not have to BELIEVE to understand
his words. I do not have to prostrate
myself in fear to an angry God to
understand gentleness and kindness. I, a
non-believer, can comprehend the words in
the Bible just as well as a devout
follower can.
It is not cool. It is not benevolent. It
is not, in my opinion, Christian. To
constantly throw your superiority,
opinions, and "grace" around is annoying,
infuriating, and quite honesty makes me
not respect you at all. It does not make
me want to be Christian at all.

You have a really sad

those people are christians. I'm not

That's very arrogant of you. Just like a

Muslims have a relationship with Allah? Or
have you forgotten that all three of those

brought my religion into the abortion
debate arena. That's because I know my
spiritual beliefs have
NOTHING to do with a scientific debate.

There is nothing
scientific about this, and yes I'm sure
the koran is ALMOST word for word to the
bible, there's your key word, ALMOST.
Anyway, I think I'm done with this debate,
I'll just have to pray for you and let God
do the rest. Anyone that is curious about
how to try and draw closer to the Lord,
and doesn't just want to argue about it
and try to prove it wrong, i will be more
than willing to share some light with you.

ALMOST word for word to the bible, there's
your key word, ALMOST. Anyway, I think
I'm done with this debate, I'll just have
to pray for you and let God do the rest.
Anyone that is curious about how to try
and draw closer to the Lord, and doesn't
just want to argue about it and try to
prove it wrong, i will be more than
willing to share some light with
you.
Really? There's absolutely nothing
scientific about biology? No wonder you're
pro-life... you don't know what science
is.
I'm sure God is a lot more friendly
towards me. I don't force people to
believe things. I also don't patronize
them for not believing the same thing I
believe in. I don't say "You're going to
Hell because you don't believe in
evolution!" Rather preposterous sounding
isn't it?
