This is my first post to this forum and I am so glad that I have found it, here's my story...
About a month ago I had Severe upper right quad. pain with pain also in my right arm. Also included was nausea and diarrhea. After that weekend, (I refused to sit in an E.R.), I called my family doc and he had me go through a whole bunch of tests, including an Abdominal and Kindey Ultrasound, Blood tests, Upper GI and a HIDA scan. I then was referred to another doc. who read all of my results and said that my ejection fraction was at 35%. I have since learned that although below "normal", that's considered o-kay. He then scheduled be for an EGD, which I had yesterday. All went well with the procedure, but I remember him showing me the pictures. I had a bunch of pettechia (almost like a rash), in my stomach, and the opening to the duodenum was very pale, almost white. When I asked him what could cause this he said that he wasn't sure and that he would see me in two weeks. He also said that we will talk about the gallbladder again at that time. I'm pretty sure that he wants me to have another HIDA scan. I'm still experiencing the pain and the nausea is almost constant. Oh yeah, he has me taking Prilosec with the hope that it will help the nausea.
Any thoughts?
