My frenulum snapped off about 13 years ago when masturbating. I have not sought treatment because of embarrassment. My foreskin now covers the top of my penis. Have I got any hope of having a sex life? Also is there any way I can seek treatment without seeing my GP?

I assume you mean that you cannot retract the foreskin at all? If it is attached in the way you say, it seems that circumcision is your only option. You will HAVE to go to a doctor. I don't know how you find a urologist without going through your GP, but why wouldn't you? Your health is no area to refuse treatment because you're "embarrassed".

I can retract the foreskin with my fingers but when I get an erection it does not do it automatically. I would imagine this would make sex very difficult.

You need to be able to retract it, manually or automatically, when you are hard.

I can retract it manually when I am hard but it does not do it automatically, do you think sex would work?
