Q: Pain After Sex..can Anyone Relate?
asked by: Rosie H on August 2nd, 2007
Extremely eHealthy
I feel pain maybe twice a month after sex. So much pain I am in tears. The issue is the outside of my vagina gets really sore, if I touch it or when I pee after sex and immediately after we are done. I cant even walk sometimes. Its the surfice or my skin its not internal and it doesnt get red or any visual signs. We are rough but he doesnt "cut" me or anything and other times we can have sex 4 times in one day and nothing happens. Then one day we have sex and bam it hurts like hell. I can never feel pain before foreplay, during foreplay, during oral, and even sex, its always after.

My problem is the doctors say nothing is wrong. I have made so many appointments and they have run all tests and nothing comes up. I have had UTI's and yeast infections and this is not one of them. Otherwise the docs would find the infection, right? Could it be related to the herpes that I have?

Please someone out there reply? thanks

You know, I think it may just be lack of lubrication... I know you're like "yeah whatever she's just blowing me off" but I get this same thing. I don't really notice until after but it really hurts, because I was lubricated but not quite enough to sustain sex-

I've since began using lubricant almost every time and never notice a problem.

yeah we do that..but the lube burns my skin too. The lube we use is called WET and we have been using this for 1 yr and a half and it doesnt hurt most of the time only sometimes. I dont understand why this keeps happening. Nothing makes sense. I am going to the doc today, again. Maybe it is something that can be helped.

Is there any lube you recommend?
