cut it in half?

prenatals have always made me sick so i made my own concoction of a multi-vitamin, a calcium supplement, and a folic acid tablet.

the vitamins are important so try to find something that works for you. i know a lot of people take flintstone vitamins, so maybe ask your doctor about those.

They are kinda huge . I didn;t take them long enough either cause they made me ill . My dr. just gave iron pills and folate . Like Bridget said cut them in half or dissolve them in water before hand.

my DR told me to take 2 flinstone vitimans instead becasue the Prenatal Vitimans were making me sick. you CAN just take one, but my DR suggested 2. You must get the right kind though. Not the gummy kind, the chewable ones, they have to contain Iron.

Ask your doctor for a chewable prental vitamin. That's what I did.

Ask your doctor if you can take your vitamins in liquid form. It takes nasty, and it is more expensive, but it's just as, if not more, effective and won't make you so sick. It is mostly the iron that is hard to digest once you do get it down.

Always try to take it with food, so midway through or after your meal is best, and not first thing in the morning. You may find that taking your vitamins after dinner is better.

2 flinstones are NOT enough for a pregnant woman.

I guess they are better than nothing, though.

There are many people who say their doctor said the same thing.
