I've only been on Yasmin for about a month
now, I'm finishing up my last week of
white pills & have 3 left. My periods
have always been pretty normal, coming at
the very end of the month, every month.
I'm about 1-2 days late now & was
wanting to know if it's normal to miss a
period the first month you're on yasmin?
and if any other girls have had this
happen...Any advice would be appreciated.

I believe Yasmin is capable of lightening
periods.
However more importantly, you may not get
your period until the last few days of
placebos. I didn't get my period till day
3 or 4 on Ortho-lo, so you're on day 4 now
of your kind... I wouldn't stress until
the whole placebo week is over. Then, if
you are worried, take a test to calm your
nerves. Birth control is very effective!

Also, your first month you may not get
your period on time. Sometimes it takes a
couple months for it to come....
but eiri was right, it may just lighten.

I'm on yasmin 21 and I ususally get my
period 3-4 days after my last active pill.
So, my last pill falls on a Saturday (i'm
a sunday starter) and my period comes late
tuesday or wednesday.
I don't think you're late. Just wait it
out a bit then start to worry if you don't
get it at all.
