Q: Postpartum Depression

I had extremely bad PPD after the birth of my son 2 1/2 years ago. I didn't get help until he was about 18 months. I thought I was going to lose my mind. I am thinking seriously about trying to have another baby. I am on so many meds. right now. I am on Prozac for OCD, & depression, Klonopin for social anxiety, Inderal for social anxiety and Elavil (the only way I can get to sleep). I know I can't take Klonopin while pregnant but what about the other meds.? At least prozac and Elavil? I am not planning on breast feeding because it put more pressure on me because I couldn't get enough milk for him. I don't want that added pressure. My PPD was so bad I don't even remember my son's first three months. What can I do? Any advice?

Thank you,
Angel

Sorry no one replied to you but I would talk these concerns over with your Doctor because it sounds like you need to be on the meds and no one here would really know what meds you can take while pregnant.
