I woke up this morning, and went in to wash my face....and there was NO water!! I checked the other sink in there, and the shower...nothing. I went to the kitchen, again nothing. So I frantically searched for a letter or something that I may not have read, saying the water would be shut off on whatever date. But nope. So I called to ask about it, and there were 2 major water lines that broke around here. My cousin's baby is sleeping, thankfully. I hope he sleeps a long time, because I only have enough bottled water for *maybe* 2 bottles. The only have a tad bit of water left. I have a full tray of ice cubes if it comes to that. And I supposed if the dogs do run out of water I can dip some out of the aquarium. I have no idea how long we're without water. I'm hoping it will be back before I leave for work at 5:00. The things I take for granted. If nothing else my mom is coming into town a bit after 1, so I can ask her to pick us up some water.

Yeah, I'm glad I didn't wake up and get ready to take my shower THEN find we had no water. I like to give Adriana her bath during the day, but she'll survive until tomorrow. I'd like a shower before leaving for work, but I'll survive as well.

Gah!! Don't you hate that? That's happened here a couple times, plus one day last week all the water coming out of the faucets was brown. And I mean brown. I was scared to do anything. I used hand sanitizer instead of washing my hands all day. And when I called the water company they pretended like nothing was wrong. Rolling Eyes Yeah, muddy water is the norm...

I hope your water's back on soon!!!

Yeah, I've been using wipe ups and hand sanitizer today. I was going to boil some noodles earlier for Adriana....but that requires water. I was going to throw in a load of clothes in the washer, but that also requires water. Evil or Very Mad
The aquarium is looking mighty tempting for a bath. Both kids are asleep and it's the perfect opportunity for a shower. But that's also hard to do without water. Does anyone know how long it takes to fix a broken water mane (sp?) or pipe...whatever it was? Can't they just throw some duct tape on it and be on their way? Crying or Very sad

Whoa....2 days is a long time to go without water, especially with a messy toddler running around. And she won't let me feed her, she's little miss independent.

Yeah, if only I had money LOL.

I checked the water a few minutes ago, and it's coming out. if I turn it on slow it comes out ok, but when I turn it up it kinda sprays....and some icky water came out too. I haven't tried either sink in the bathroom yet....the toilet flushes tho. The washer just makes a weird noise.
