Hello everyone, can you tell me if Diamox can really treat glaucoma?

And if it really does, if someone of 70 years old suffers from glaucoma, can it treats that person? Can you tell about the effectiveness of Diamox please?

If not, what medication can a person use to treat the glaucoma?

- Diamox is a very effective medication - in terms of lowering IOP - but it can have side effects which can be unpleasant (eg nausea, low mood, loss of appetite). Generally other medications are used ahead of diamox for this reason, prostaglandin analogues are widely regarded as being the most suited for first line treatment (eg latanoprost, bimatoprost, travoprost)
