at 1:30 am with a wide awake baby that pulling every single thing out of my cabinets and drawers. We need safetly latches. I'm about to pull all of my hair out. I don't know why on God's green earth she's up at this time. I tried everything to put her back to sleep and nothing worked, so I thought she needed to put. I put her down and her face lit up. I wanted to scream!
Maybe she napped too much today. She took a 2 1/2 hour nap in the morning and a 1 1/2 hour nap in the afternoon.
She'll suffer tomorrow b/c we'll be on the road all day. I'm finally going order my wedding album and we've been married for almost 2 years.

Yeah sounds like she napped too long in the day. If I let jay have more than an hour and half maximum he would be wide awake for part of the night. You want the break from them during they daytime so its easy to let them sleep for too long, but you end up worse off when it comes to the night. Hope you're both getting some sleep right now.

aw, you poor thing. i hope she sleeps soon and doesn't keep you up too late. i've got a baby keeping me up too but i wish this one would just come out already. i seriously feel like the baby's head is already between my legs when i stand up, lol. i feel like someone is taking my legs and stretching them out like a wishbone until they're about to break! it's really weird because i thought i would just start having contractions and they would get stronger until i had the baby. but i've been having sooo much pressure in my groin it feels like the baby is going to push it's head out any second. meanwhile they aren't really contractions that hurt, just a ton of pressure. i don't get what's going on here. i can't wait to see the doctor tomorrow and see if all of this is getting me anywhere at all. i was 3 cm when they checked me last thursday so who knows????

anyway. is it hot where you are? it's louisiana right? it must be always hot and humid there. that's how i picture it. you probably just get used to the heat. me, on the other hand, i can't handle it at all. we are having a heat wave here and it's driving everyone in this house bonkers. it's been in the hmmm, i guess high 80s and 90s ( i don't know fahrenheit that well) but with the humidity factored in it's more like 100 and over most of the time. our little air conditioner is barely coping with it. my cat looks like she is glued to the floor and my usually chipper Ritchie is all grumpy and tired out. we canadians don't weather this kind of heat all that well. i think we do better with -45 in the winter!

my sister and brother in law were here for a while tonight with their 6 month old and she was sooo hyper. i can't believe how active she was. i think me and rich were a little bit afraid of what we've gotten ourselves into, lol. active babies are so much work! you just have to struggle to keep up with them so they don't hurt themselves in all their enthusiasm to explore. i give anyone who is doing that job big props!! i hope you are able to get some rest tonight. sorry about the long post, lol.

labor dust to you kaerbear! It must be a difficult time being heavily pregnant in the middle of summer. I had my son in February so I didnt experience that.
I remember feeling sore down below at the very end of pregnancy because he was so far down, it hurt to walk. Do you get that? Goodluck at your docs appt tomorrow.
Theres definately been lots of times since having jay that Ive thought - omg what did I get myself into here??! lol but you get past it. Try to think nothing lasts forever, the difficult stages WILL pass.

Don't worry you are not the only one up in the middle of the night. Brayden woke up at 2 am and is still awake now at 3:30. He only napped a short while today so I don't know whats going on. I think its his teeth but I really wish I was sleeping right now!
