I started a new low dose birth control pill on 23 July and had nausea and vomitting within 30mins of taking my pill each morning on 24, 25 and 26 July. I went to my doctor on 27 July and he said to just continue taking the pill. He gave me some antibiotics and tablets for nausea. I started bleeding on 24th July and it stopped yesterday. I assume that must have been like a period? Or withdrawal bleed since I stopped taking the pill?? I have been so sick of feeling sick on the pill and haven't taken my pill since obviously last Tuesday 24th (when I had the nausea and vomitting). Does this mean that because for the last 9 days I haven't taken my birth control pill, I am now ovulating again as I felt this lump in my ovary area and have had some cramping and pain in my left ovary area.

Well, yes you could be ovulating again. You aren't protected against pregnancy.

Nausea is common with pills for some people, and if you really can't stand it, I'd try switching to a different pill and see if that helps. It may take a few months for that side effect to wear off, so you may have to stick it out. However, if you are throwing up after you take your pill, it is not effective. So you should probably switch.

Your period may be really weird from starting and stopping the pill, so don't freak out if it is doing weird stuff.

I would suggest trying to take the pill at a different time of day. Some women get sick if they take it in the morning, others get sick if they take it at night.
