Q: Questions: Spreading of Mollusca ?

Hello!
While at the gynocologist today, I asked about some tiny bumps on my skin near my vagina. I originally noticed the first one some months ago and, at closer look, there are several more in the area. He said they're probably hair folicles, but could be Mollusca, which goes away on its own. Either way, he told me it's nothing to worry about. What I am wondering, though, is if I should be concerned about spreading this to other parts of my body or to my partner (his hands/mouth/genitals during sexual contact)? Can mollusca transmit to the mouth area during oral sex? (What are the possibilities of transmission) I don't want it to go to areas that are visible in public or cause a nussance for my partner!! I tend to worry and feel like I should mention this possibility to my partner, but, could it cause him to feel concerned when it may just be hair folicles?
I really like online forums because you get an array of opinions and experience!
Thank you all for your help!!!

yes, it is possible for mollusca to transmit to the mouth during oral sex...

possibilities of transmission include infected underwear or any clothing for that matter( maybe u bought underwear and didn't wash it before you wore them), you can get it from a contaminated towel. These are probably less common. If you have it near the vagina then it could most likely be because it was sexually transmitted. If it itches don't scratch it because it can spread like poison oak.
