Ok I really need some help / advise.
I have had pelvic issues since I can remember. I am now 31 and in horrible shape.
I have battled Endometriosis for years now. UTI's since I was 2 and pelvic pain for 15 years. I have has to have my Urethra dialated 4 x's - first time at 6 yrs old to now.

I am now in so much pain that I have to take 8 Ultram a day just to function. I saw a Urologist who did a cystoscopy and said it looks like I possible have a mild case of IC, but in his opinion its not severe enough to cause the pain I am experiencing (been this bad for about 2 yrs now)

I wake up in the morning tummy in pain, then I urinate and BAM - the pain is so intense I have to lay down until the pain meds take effect. It burns when I pee, and stomach in Intense pain. I have had endo removed 3x's - last time was about 5 years ago.

CAT scan showed nothing of any significance, Ultrasound the same.
Intercourse hurts on & off - sometimes to the point I can't have it.
I am so tired of being in so much pain & being so dependant on Pain Meds just to survive. I feel like ever doc pushes me off to someone else because they cant explain it nor bother to want to help me. My next visit will be to a new Urologist & I guess an OBGYN to check for Endo in the bladder? - Any help from anyone out there would be appreciated so much. I can't live like this anymore )-:

Thank You for listening,

Iadarie

I can completely understand your situation. My pain hasn't been for that long, only for the last 4-5 months. I'm not even diagnosed with anything yet. I'm having a laparoscopy on June 5th to see if it is endometriosis. But in regards to the pain, I understand hat you're going through. I wake up in doubling over pain, I go to work in pain, and I've tried to go about my day dealing with it, but its so bad lately I just want to tear out my uterus. But the worst part is that they wont even give me pain meds since my mom had a vicodin addiction. So I'm no allowed to have anthing to help with my pain.

I've been in so much pain the last two days, I can't function. Nothing helps. Heating pads, vibration, hot bath, pressure, meditation is starting to not work for me. When I was still with my fiance at the time I started experiencing all of this, sex became painful. And it's frustrating. I feel like a hypochondriac because none of my doctors really take me seriously.

Honestly, I know it's a hard thing to think about, but I would look into complete hysterectomy. My mom had one 4 years ago due to uterine cancer, but when there is no other solution, you've got to look at the things that could be emotionally painful, but will heal you in the long run.

Painful Urination and Intercourse
I definitely understand your concern. I too have had painful urination and all i keep getting told is that is a UTI when i know its not. The test always come back negative and it only happens during and around my cycle. I also get a painful cramping sensation during intercourse. Not all the time but it feels like the penis is hitting something and it causes me to double over in pain. I have gone to about 7 Gyn Dr's and they tell me that im fine and that im only 27 (and younger) and that once i have a child it will get better. I have contemplated a Hysterectomy but i want children. I have been told that i have a small cyst on one of my ovaries but im only told to take a variation of OTC meds. Im not sure if the Dr's that i visit are blowing me off because of my age but if either of you get a solution to your problem, i wish u the best of luck..

Sounds like endometrosis
For over 5 years I suffered with UTI usually a week before my periods, most of the time. Finally I was referred to a gynae who put me on the pill. This helped for the 1st year or so but then the infections came back. Eventually he did a laparoscopy. Turns out it was endometrosis. Since this procedure, I have gone from having around 10 infections per year to one. Insist insist insist!

So glad I read this post! I keep taking antibiotics for UTI's but they don't help for long at all! For the last 3 months I have been having bad pelvic pain and my doctor thinks I may have endometriosis. So y'all are saying that Endo can cause UTI's??
