I've had a few bladder infections, and it would be best not to do anything sexual, but it only takes a few days to clear up so you shouldnt notice much. Drink a ton of water every day to keep things flowing, and if you can try to eat dried cranberries or drink cranberry juice, its great for bladder infections, some kind of anti-oxident that cleans things real good

Sexual intercourse can cause or make a bladder infection worse. Semen can get into your urethra and cause an infection. It is obviously not contagious. I don't think it would be a major deal if you had sex because your already on antibiotics, so it wont make it worse.

I have one right now *sighs* I hate it...And its better though. After I had alex I would like have accidents so i'd have to wear like these diaper pad thingies...But my bladder infection is getting better...No...I wouldnt have sex....

Ok everyone thank u so much! But I ran into a problem! I was with my boyfriend. .Things got a little carried away. . I told him no sex.. Well we didnt have sex. .But he did finger me (sorry tmi I know it sounds gross) anyhow his hands were pretty clean cuz he had just taken a shower a half hour b4 that. .But then I felt so bad for letting him do that while I was on my antibiotics and made him stop and I right away went and peed and tried to wipe around the area. I also bought cranberries and cranberry juice.. I hope ididnt mess it up by doing this today with him!! I wont again till im done with the meds!
