Signs Symptoms of Meningitis

My nephew, how is 3 years old had ear infection. After antibiotic treatment, he got well. But now, 1 week after he has a high temperature again, sensitivity to light, he e sleepy all the time. First we thought that the infection is back but the doctor said that the ear infection is gone and they gave him antibiotics again, but his fever hasn't gone. Please help me. It's urgent... We don't know what is wrong with him. Could it be meningitis ? What are signs and symptoms of meningitis ? I need your help, please, it's really important....
