Q: Retina Detachment Surgery Recovery Time

I had retinal detachment surgery on the right eye 4 weeks ago. I was off from work about 4 weeks after surgery and just returned to work. The majority of my day is spent looking at the computer. What is the normal recovery time for retinal detachment surgery?

Retina Detachment Surgery Recovery

Hi: I am 56 and had the same surgery in Dec. 08

It has been 6 weeks and recovery is not as fast as I had hoped. Vision is blurry, not peripheral vision at all.

How was your recovery time?
