I Found a Lump In My Arm Pit

I would suggest going to the doctor right away...It can't hurt, can it?? Hopefully its just a cyst or possibly a boil...I have had one in my armpit once before....Hurt like hell, it was about the size of a grape. But I went to the doctor anyways. don't worry, just have it checked out right away...The sooner you know what it is, the sooner you can stop worrying. :d

i found small pea-sized lump ony my armpits and some parts of my body..i'm very worried about..can you help me?

i have had a lump under my right arm for a week now...It is quite big,bigger than a grape...It is solid,and doesnt move at all, and there is no pain at all. I found it when i added soap in the shower under my arm...I feel it when my arms are raised above my head and i can see the outline of the lump.
Very big. No pain. Quite worried. Also i am a 47 year old women who has never had a mammogram. Please any ideas at all as this is i feel not good and im always so tierd. Yes i know its easy to say go to the Dr but my Dr is a man and i feel very uncomfortable and im hoping it might just go and i think im just over reacting with this...I dont know..Help!!! Okay.... I never thought i`d had to write in this.. So, I am 18 years old, female obviously. I`ve never once had a physical nor mammogram done. Just the other night I had a pain in my right armpit. I thought nothing of it, till I felt to see if I was scratched But I found a small pea-sized lump near my lymphnodes I am pretty sure... What frightens me the most, is that just a year ago my grandpa died from cancer, but 6 months after that my Mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, after finding a `Lump` and had a full mastectomy but later found out it was Estrogen based!! Should I go get it checked out considering my family history for cancer

Ali, breast cancer is not hereditary.

First of all, I suspect that you wear underwire and push-up type bras. These bras cut off the lymphatic and blood circulatory systems and also the mammary glands. the lymphatic nodes get cut off and can not continue to the underarms and than to the spleen. I know as I have been a Healer for 14+ years. You should wear full type cup bras for one part and for the other, get some skin cream, add some saseame seed oil in it, shake it well and massage your breasts twice daily and your armpit areas. You will have healthier breasts.

last two years ago, my nipple was sore and pain. the pain and the sore were only lasted few days. but whenever I pushed my breast against someone or something, there was always pain. but this one did not even last longer. for noe, i think i found a lump that is NOT soo hard and there are like few of them near my nipple. it only hurts sometimes. In the past few days, i feel pain under my arm n now i think there is a little lump under my left arm. please help! i need advise.

From what you are explaining, your armpit area is caused by the lymphatic system being blocked and it would be by your bra which I suspect that you are wearing an Underwire or a push-up bra causing this problem.

The remaining of the problems you had in your breasts, are caused by pinched and dislocated nerves in your mid and upper back areas. Those nerves need to be reset or it will come back and worse. I know as I have been a Healer for more than 14 years.

Hey I am a 19 year old female. I found a little lump under my left armpit about a week ago. It's about the size of a pea, a little bit smaller and it is really hard. I shave my armpits but I hadn't done that in a while. I am worried because I havent been to a Doctor in years. Now, I did try popping it but it was really hard and it didnt pop and it hurt alot and i mean alot when I did try. Anyone know what it could be? Should I be worried??

to Ali104... see a doctor. Even if he says its nothing, you win. You never want to play a wait and see on a lump as you've described. To healer... you've done a great job in giving your suggestions on what you believe it to be... but i would suggest you always end your comments with "consult a doctor just to be safe".

To lilypad... see a doctor. I have a similar lump under my arm that I just noticed a few days ago. I could have typed your note myself... although I'm 44. I will be calling the doctor on Tuesday and going in. It may be an ingrown hair or something. But... better to know that than to wait and have it be something worse.

Yes nij Go to doctor and get your body screened and tested what was this thing. this could be anything. but i wish and pray nothing will be too serious.

I have a bug lump under my right armpit and it hurt really bad i when to my obgyn doctor because it starting coming out from my first pregnacy and after that i had two more kids and its starting getting biger and bigger my obgyn doctor told to not worry because is breast tissue and im worry because it hurt i can even put down my arm bause it hurst and i get i little tingully that run down to my breast and my breast star to hurt and under my left under arm i have another one but is not as big as my right one please help me out what should i do

This lump is obviously bothering you and causing you understandable stress. You will not stop worrying until you know for sure it is o.k. It may very well just be enlarged lymph nodes, but you will not know for sure until you go and get an ultrasound. Your OBGYN can refer you to an imaging center. If there is a problem, it is ALWAYS better to know sooner than later. If I would not have caught my early stage breast cancer & dealt with it, it could have been a lot worse.
But, my best advice is not to get too upset or worried before your tests. I have gotten myself extremely worked up over possible problems that turned out to be nothing. It's just a waste of energy. It's also a waste of energy wondering whether it is o.k. or not when you don't do the tests. So, request the test, keep your worry in check and move forward when you know more. I am 15 years old and i just noticed a lump embedded underneath my skin in my armpit. I noticed it when I was washing my body and felt it firm there. There is very very little pain. It's about the size of pea and very stiff. Then a few hours later, my breast closest to my lumped armpit was aching. I know it is very improbable of a 15 year old to have breast cancer but I'm still very cautious and want to make sure. no one in my family has had breast cancer before...i'm just confused

There are lymph nodes under your armpit that can swell at times and feel lumpy, which is normal. You are very smart to be aware of what is going on with your body and to be proactive in your own health. Keep an eye on this pea sized lump though. You may just want to go to your family doctor and ask them to feel under your arm. Wear a tank top so you can show your doctor without being too embarrassed. You may ask your mom or sister or friend to feel it so that if it grows in the future, they can give you their opinion of its size. You are very young & do not have a family history of cancer, so I wouldn't worry too much; but, that being said, you should have a doctor look at it if it doesn't change or grows. (You can ask for an ultrasound if you are really worried, but it probably isn't necessary unless it grows). A simple visit to the doctor can rest your worries and make you feel much better. It also gives your doctor a starting point as to its size, so that if you go in the future to have it looked at again, they'll be able to compare it to the original size. The aching in the breast may have been from you feeling around in the armpit and pushing on the nerves that travel over your breast. I think it'll probably go away after you stop pushing on it. Although I think you are probably just fine, I encourage anyone who is concerned about something to do with their health to not wait & go get it looked at. Save yourself the extra stress. Wondering if something is o.k. can be very stressful and since you are not a doctor, it is best to leave it up to the specialists. Have your mom feel it and see how it is in another week or two. This is how I think about it....if you go to get it looked at and there is nothing to worry about, you receive peace of mind, (which is worth a lot)! If you go and they find something of concern or want to do further tests, then you may find it early which is what you want when there is a problem. If you don't go, you will still wonder about it which ultimately will cause stress. If you don't go to get it looked at and there may be something that needs to be taken care of, the delay would be worse. So, you have nothing to loose by just getting it looked at by a doctor. It may just be a lymph node under the armpit, but definitely get it looked at and keep a close watch on the size or if it changes. Don't freak out until you know there is something to worry about.
