My sister recently had a spell at the chiropractor's office where she became dizzy, nauseated, was sweating profusely. They gave her some pretzels and a drink and she was able to make it home. My mom, who is diabetic tested her blood sugars which were 91. After eating supper an hour or so later, (she had chicken, rice, carrots and 2 glasses of sweet tea) my mom tested her again, and her sugar was only 83. Why, after eating, would her blood sugars go down?

Hey
the sugars probably didnt have a chance to enter the blood stream. it probably would have been higher if you had checked 2 hours after eating.

i would post this in the diabetic forum as well.
