Hello guys
My wife has had his sleep apnea
complicated by an ongoing sinus problem. She is on CPAP
therapy but due to not being able to breath through her
nose the therapy has not been effective and she has
become more fatigued. She went to a sinus guy today to
see if the problem can be alleviated but in the mean
time she has dozed off twice at work due to the fatigue.
Her boss told her that if it happened again she would be
fired. What can we do to protect her job while
we are trying to fix this medical problem? Would she be
protected under the ADA? Does anyone have any suggestions
on what accommodations she could ask for that would be
reasonable? Thank you for the time

I Had a Same Problem !!
I suffered from the same problem. In fact my eyelids would start to pain after bieng awake for 3 nights at a stretch and still going to office without sleeping the whole night.
What I did was consult a neuro physician who suggetsed me to take Mirtaz(Indian drug name) and NITREST (another Indian drug name) at night about at 1 hour gap before going to bed.
I took it for a week to 10 days and then slowly discontinued by taking alternate days till I was off the medicine and was sleeping without it.
Also physical exercise is a must during the day or evening to get proper sleep.
Living a healthy life is more important than treating individual symptoms.

Hope this helps,
sanjay
