Hi people. Three months ago I had a laparoscopic surgery to repair hiatus hernia. Soon after the surgery, like a week later I started to feel pain in my stomach, pain when I swallow, constant heartburn ... I went to a doctor and I was diagnosed with acid reflux. My question is: Is the acid reflux caused by the surgery, hernia , or it's something else ?
